Apple expands Flyover features and public transport routes on its Maps, but nothing yet in Brazil

A few weeks ago Apple had taken the appeal Flyover of their maps to 19 more locations, and now another 15 have entered the cake. Unfortunately nothing yet in Brazil, but the Portuguese friends won one more.

Here is the new list:

  • Basel (Switzerland)
  • Bielefeld (Germany)
  • Gorges Du Verdon (France)
  • Hawaii (United States)
  • Hiroshima (Japan)
  • Leo (Spain)
  • Nagoya (Japan)
  • Okayama (Japan)
  • Osaka (Japan)
  • Lassen Volcanic National Park (United States)
  • Porto, Portugal)
  • Prague (Czech Republic)
  • Kyoto (Japan)
  • Sendai (Japan)
  • Tulum (Mexico)

A feature that lists nearby points of interest on the maps was still limited to the USA and China, but is now also working in Germany, Australia, Canada and France.

The new iOS 9 public transport routes have recently expanded to two more cities: Boston (USA) and Sydney (Australia). The feature has also integrated with Amtrak routes, but it's a shame that things are still going very well, very slowly
