Apple executive appears on BLACK ENTERPRISE's “Most Powerful Women in Business” list

Today the International Women's Day, as you may have noticed by the various manifestations (commercial or otherwise) that do not let us forget. And nothing better than celebrating the day with another achievement by one of the members of the Apple team.

Responsible for the global marketing of Apple Music, Bozoma Saint John, was named one of the “Most Powerful Women in the Business World” by the magazine BLACK ENTERPRISE. The magazine brought together executives with "authority over budgets totaling billions of dollars and controlling subsidiaries, divisions or departments that affect fiscal health and the direction of their businesses".

You couldn't find a better example of women in power than the executives represented in this issue. Our editorial team developed this list not only to celebrate the female elite in business, but to demonstrate that incomparable experience and resilience are required to break down barriers that executives continue to face today.

Earl “Butch” Graves Jr., president and CEO of BLACK ENTERPRISE.

The person responsible for raising the audience when presenting the new Apple Music design at WWDC 2016 was mentioned by the magazine with other incredible black women such as Beyonc (singer), Channing Dungey (president of ABC), among others. In addition, Saint John gained great prominence by appearing on the cover of the magazine's January / February issue alongside Debbie Roberts (from McDonald's, left) and Lisa Borders (WNBA president, right).

Saint John started working at Apple in 2014, when the company bought Beats. Since then, she has continued her incredible journey, getting big names for Apple Music (like Mary J Blige and Taylor Swift). Before being responsible for Beats marketing, the executive worked for the company PepsiCo, in which she signed a $ 50 million sponsorship contract with Beyonc.

great to be able to have a good job recognized and honored, especially when it comes to a black woman in the corporate environment. This certainly serves as a great advertisement for Apple itself, which has been involved in diversity-related polemics. Although she is not an executive in the top positions, this is a last and important step.

Ah! It's a great International Women's Day for all our readers wonderful. đŸ’đŸŸ
