The Apple event yesterday disappointed a lot of people, but it brought so much news that it still ended up overshadowing other releases of the day, such as Dell's Adamo XPS. In fact the laptop was not released: again, the manufacturer just released a first teaser about it and put up a form for those interested in knowing more about the product when it is available.
Dell's goal? Overcome the first generation of Adamo and, of course, the MacBook Air. For that, it wants to make official the reign of the thinnest laptop in the world: the Adamo XPS is 9.99 millimeters (!) Thick. The current generation of Apple's thinnest notebook is almost double 19.4 mm (only 4 mm at its thinnest point, good to note Dell prefers to standardize the thing, which is a bit strange), while the first Adamo was in 16 , 5 mm.

The curious thing is that Dell still considers Adamo XPS a “design concept”, that is, it is possible that current technologies (processors, especially, are a big problem) still do not allow the project to become a reality anytime soon. We'll see.
