There are several indications that things are not looking good for Apple and that sales of the iPhones XS, XS Max and XR have not taken off as they should. It is clear that it is still early to set something like this, but the signs are still (like a cut in the price of XR in Japan, a supposed reduction in production due to low demand, among other things). Then, who knows, the time has come to try new strategies.
In the United States, actress / presenter / comedian Ellen DeGeneres has a program called The Ellen Show. At the end of the year, she usually presents the audience with gifts for the holidays, very similar to those 12 days of gift that Apple made in the App / iTunes Store. That leaves it for Ellen, then, to announce that the entire audience will win a device to call their own which, as always happens in these programs, drives people crazy, to a state of total ecstasy! In the video description on YouTube, there is a nominal Apple thanks, which as if necessary confirms the promotional action.
Out of? Yes. To the point of giving you a little shame? Very possible. But who wouldn't want to win an iPhone XR, anyway? 😝
