Apple denies rumors of interruption in production of 27-inch iMacs

An Apple representative today denied the The Wall Street Journal all the speculations of interrupting the production of the 27-inch iMacs, again stating that it is still trying to stabilize the demand for the machines. However, this time he commented that their manufacturing continued while working to solve some graphic problems that continue to irritate several users.

This means that the next batch of 27-inch iMacs will arrive in the United States (whichever happens in two weeks) will be able to come with solutions for instability defects in the coloring of the screens and flickering, which is good news for anyone hoping to change a problematic model under warranty. In Brazil, both 21.5-inch and 27-inch iMacs are expected to be available for up to seven weeks, but that time is expected to shorten soon and we should not experience defects with new desktops in stores.

Last night, Apple released a second graphics fix via software for the existing 27-inch iMacs, to address the same flaws.
