“Hermitage”: Apple dares and publishes a video of 5 hours, 19 minutes and 28 seconds all shot with the iPhone, in one take

We’ve seen many, many videos of the campaign “Filmed with the iPhone” (“Shot on iPhone”), but nothing like what Apple published today.

The difference of this is not much in the captured images, which are rather beautiful and of excellent quality for a smartphone, but in the fact that the video has 5 hours, 19 minutes and 28 seconds in duration and it was all filmed in one take.

Watch (or not) «Hermitage»:

If you don’t have all that time to see the full video (you’ll know, right…), we also have a one and a half minute trailer:

As the title already indicates, the video brings us a journey through (almost) the entire Hermitage – one of the largest and most iconic museums in Russia (in fact, in the world), located in the city of St. Petersburg.

At once, with its battery going from 100% to 19% in these almost five and a half hours, an iPhone 11 Pro takes us to see 45 galleries, 588 works of art and some live performances. All of this captured in 4K resolution.

The direction was made by Axinya Gog, from the Triadot agency.
