Apple Campus 2: last images of the year show the “spaceship” completely deserted at Christmas

Christmas is that day when we are all with our families and / or friends, celebrating and enjoying the holiday; no work (for most, at least). And it becomes even more notorious when you look at a place where, normally, you will see several employees, each at his post, working frantically to finish a gigantic work. I'm talking, of course, about Apple Campus 2.

Swimming against the sea, Matthew Roberts and Duncan Sinfield they left their families a little to provide us with that cool look at the monumental “spaceship” of Ma, apparently for the first time completely deserted of people.

After anxiously following the construction of Campus 2, we closed this year with a flourish with these beautiful images in 4K resolution, captured on Christmas Day. As you can see, all that was left on this holiday over there were the machinery and the silence, which is a real Christmas present for those who live in the neighborhood and must constantly listen to uncomfortable construction noises.

The first video above, captured by Roberts, shows that 65% of the sunroofs are already installed; in the research and development center, as well as in the “spaceship” and in the auditorium (where Apple's next events are likely to take place), work is already focusing on internal aspects. In addition, the surroundings are already properly wooded and with their roads and tunnels being completed.

Watch the video made by Sinfield below. Because they were filmed on the same day, there is no difference in what can be perceived; however, there is a more “potent” dose in it, which packs the beautiful images to the instrumental sound of “Noite Feliz”.

The construction of Apple Campus 2 is expected to finish in the first quarter of 2017. The buildings will have more than 13 thousand employees of Ma.
