Apple Brazil expands support for American models of iPhones 6/6 Plus, 5s and 5c

A few days ago, the MacMagazine reported that Apple Brazil has finally started to service any model of iPhone 6s / 6s Plus in national territory. Now, it has expanded this novelty to certain models of iPhones 6/6 Plus, 5s and 5c.

In the case of iPhones 6/6 Plus, Apple Brazil will now be able to offer national models (A1549 / A1522) to owners of A1586 / A1524 handsets purchased in the United States in case technical assistance is needed. These same models, if originally purchased in Asia, Europe or Japan, remain unsupported in Brazil as well as the A1589 / A1593 models from China.

In the same way, Apple Brazil can offer national models of iPhone 5s (A1457) and the iPhone 5c (A1507) for those who bought them in the USA models A1533 / A1453 and A1532 / A1456. IPhones 5s / 5c of those same models purchased elsewhere are still unsupported here, as well as the models A1530 / A1518 and A1529 / A1516.

As the majority of Brazilians who had difficulty obtaining assistance here had always bought their iPhones in the USA, the novelty should already satisfy most consumers.
