Apple back to school promotion in the US gives iPods to purchase Macs

Apple today announced the start of its annual promotion back to school, currently restricted to its online stores in the United States and Canada. Students and teachers now have the opportunity to take advantage of special discounts when purchasing a Mac through the company's educational channel and on top of getting an iPod touch for free.

With the exception of Mac mini and Mac Pro, all Apple computers participate in the promotion, regardless of whether they are purchased in their respective standard configurations or by order. The free iPod right covers almost the entire line, with the exception of the more expensive iPod touch models, ie the maximum discount offered of US $ 200 for the United States and 220 Canadian dollars for Canada.

Users will be able to enjoy the benefits of the promotion (if eligible) until September 7. As in previous years, the iPhone was left out of discounts, but it was strange that Apple did not do anything to promote the iPad, which has already been highly targeted at educational institutions.
