Apple has just announced, finally, the first international expansion of the Apple Watch. On June 26 (a Friday), seven new countries will receive the watch: Italy, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland and Taiwan.
Not only that, but she already mentions in the press release that Apple Watch will be available both at Apple Online Stores and Apple Retail Stores and even at local authorized resellers.
"The response to the Apple Watch exceeded our expectations in every way, and we are happy to bring it to more customers around the world," said Jeff Williams, senior vice president of operations at Apple. “We are also making significant progress in the accumulated orders for Apple Watches, and we would like to thank our customers for their patience. All orders placed in May, with the exception of the 42mm Apple Watch in space black stainless steel with the space black Link Bracelet, will be delivered to consumers within two weeks. During this period, we will also start selling some models at our Apple Retail Stores. ”
Repeating its initial strategy, Apple will have some boutiques with a “special selection” of Apple Watches on 10 Corso Como in Milo, BOONTHESHOP Cheongdam in Seoul and Malmaison by The Hour Glass in Singapore.
For now, we continue to expect Apple Watch to arrive in Brazil by the end of July.
