Apple had already given an indication of this, but now for real: after the first weekend of sales, the company announced today that it delivered more than 13 million iPhones 6s and 6s Plus. In 2014, there were 10 million iPhones 6/6 Plus.
"Sales of iPhones 6s and 6s Plus have been phenomenal, outpacing any first weekend sales results in Apple's history," said CEO Tim Cook. "The feedback from consumers is incredible and they are loving 3D Touch and Live Photos, and we can't wait to bring iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus to consumers in even more countries on October 9."
The new iPhones will reach 40 (!) Countries and territories from October 9: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Greenland, Netherlands, Hungary, Isle of Man, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Litunia, Luxembourg , Maldives, Mexico, Monaco, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland and Taiwan.
The next day, in October 10, the devices will also be launched in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Kuwait. In October 16enter India, Malaysia and Turkey.
O Brazil has not even been quoted by Apple, yet. It only promises to take iPhones 6s / 6s Plus to "more than 130 countries" by the end of the year.
