Apple announces partnership with Oprah Winfrey to produce programs on its streaming service

Of all the many news that we have seen about the coming original series platform of Apple, perhaps none is as important as this: Apple itself has announced that it has partnered with the American TV queen, Oprah Winfrey, for the creation of original content and programs.

Cupertino's statement reads:

Apple today announced a single, multi-year content partnership with Oprah Winfrey, the esteemed producer, actress, presenter of talk shows, philanthropist and CEO of OWN.

Together, Winfrey and Apple will create original programs that embrace their unmatched ability to connect with viewers around the world.

Winfrey's projects will be launched as part of Apple's original content catalog.

Basically, these are all the information that exists so far; it is not known what type (or types) of the Oprah program will help to develop at Apple, what type of relationship it will actually have at the company or even if the contract requires some type of exclusivity which is unlikely, considering that the presenter has her own TV channel.

Still, the prospects are interesting: Oprah, in addition to being one of the most recognized and beloved personalities in the United States (and the world, perhaps), has a style that speaks very well to what Apple is supposed to print on its service. original content, with “friendly” attractions and for the whole family.

Will it give broth? Let us wait.
