Apple announces its own battery charger, adapted to accompany all its wireless products

Apple today launched a new member for its line of accessories that, although simple, will probably be very appreciated by some users: it is its own battery charger. Considering that its customers now need to carry a considerable amount of wireless products that operate on the basis of batteries Wireless Keyboard, Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad, the initiative looks very good.

The new product offers a definitive solution for those who need batteries for all their peripherals used in conjunction with Macs. In addition to the charger itself, Apple offers six rechargeable AA batteries that fit all of your wireless accessories, but of course, it also recharges batteries from other brands.

According to Ma, your batteries can last up to 10 years based on certain usage scenarios so don't expect it if you stay at the computer all day, for example.

Although AA batteries are not my preferred power source for wireless products given their impact on nature that is not just my own paranoia, at least Apple claims to have managed to develop a charger that does not consume a lot of energy when used. A sensor detects when the batteries are fully charged, reducing the power consumption of the accessory on the wall to just 30 milliwatts.

The Apple Battery Charger will be available in Brazil in early September, but can now be ordered for R $ 120 with six AA batteries included.
