Earlier this year the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) published a polemical ranking placing Samsung as the best smartphone manufacturer in terms of consumer satisfaction.
Although it was strange, an updated ACSI survey did put the South Korean tied with Apple in that regard.
Apple and Samsung now have 80 points each, followed by Motorola Mobility (79), BlackBerry (78) and HTC (66).
In the individual evaluation of devices, the Galaxy Note 4 appears in front (86) of the Galaxy Note 3, iPhone 6 Plus, Galaxy S5 and iPhone 6 all with 82 points.
ACSI data was compiled based on interviews with more than 14,000 smartphone owners between January and February.
