Apple acquires LearnSprout, a company that analyzes academic data

Apple continues to invest more and more in education and bringing new companies / professionals to its arsenal.

Cupertino's newest acquisition, as reported by Bloomberg (which obtained confirmation from Apple, as always without giving details), was the LearnSprout.

Based in San Francisco, this startup which adds up to more than $ 4 million in investments, offered a complete control panel for teachers and school administrators to analyze student-generated data on Macs and PCs.

As we have already shown here on the website, iOS 9.3 comes with a series of specific news for the use of iPads in the academic world. Recently, CEO Tim Cook reiterated Apple's commitment to education in the United States and, on another occasion, pinned Chromebooks.

According to the LearnSprout website, more than 2,500 academic institutions in the US use its software.
