THE Bloomberg reported that Apple acquired the DataTiger, an startup English digital marketing that, according to his LinkedIn page, has the following description:

DataTiger is a set of tools that allows you to create marketing software that puts your data to work. Using DataTiger is the fastest and easiest way to increase retention and monetization. With our platform, you can individually optimize marketing flows for your customers in real time across all channels.
DataTiger can be used as an online tool, importing your data and configuring user flows in minutes, with all your data living in the cloud – or it can be fully customized internally, building your own marketing solution through our APIs + components front-end open source.
A December document shows that Apple now controls Operatedata Ltd., the corporate name of DataTiger. Also according to Bloomberg, Apple did not respond to requests for comment, nor did DataTiger.
It is clear that the decision to buy a startup as this is not done overnight; however, evaluating the company’s movements in the last few weeks (quite influenced by the drop in sales of iPhones), we saw Apple investing heavily in shots of emails and even notifications in order to encourage consumers to migrate to new devices. Even Apple Music is using similar tactics to garner more subscribers.
It remains to be seen what are Apple’s plans with this new acquisition.
