Apple acquired Dryft, the company responsible for a keyboard app for Android

And more Apple acquisitions are emerging

According to TechCrunch, Apple acquired last year a company responsible for the Android keyboard app called Dryft.

As shown in the photo above, the super-interesting keyboard for use with tablets like the iPad. According to LinkedIn, Dryft's co-founder and chief technology officer (CTO) (who also sees co-founder of Swype), Randy Marsden, would now be responsible for the iOS virtual keyboard.

Apple has already confirmed the acquisition without giving details, but it is speculated that its interest may have to do with rumors related to an “iPad Pro”, as well as to further improve the user experience with the virtual keyboards of iPads and iPhones. It looks promising.
