AppBlock is a free app for Android phones that can block other apps from running, including notifications. The purpose of the service is to avoid distractions while performing a task, useful for those who need to study or work without being disturbed. The lock can be set by location, day and time or Wi-Fi network to which the device is connected.
In the following tutorial, check out how to set up and use AppBlock on your phone. The procedure was performed on a Moto E5 Plus with Android 8.0 (Oreo), but the tips also apply to other devices with the Google system. Please note that the tool is not available for Apple iPhone (iOS) users.

Step 1. Install AppBlock on your mobile by dnetc page. When opening the app for the first time, tap "Activate now" under the "Set up app accesses" item. Then go over the name of AppBlock;

Step 2. Activate the option "Allow access to use" and return to AppBlock screen;

Step 3. Back in AppBlock, note that there are some examples of preconfigured profiles. To use, touch them and confirm "Enable" in the bottom right corner. To create a new profile, go to "+". In this case, select the desired lock condition by day and time, location or connected Wi-Fi network;

Step 5. After choosing the condition, set days and hours, location or Wi-Fi network to which your mobile phone must be linked for the impediment to occur. In the following options, choose to block app launch and / or notifications. Finally, go to "Add" to select which services will be blocked.
