App Store Specials of the Day: LumaFusion, GoodReader, Bastion and More!

Check it out and enjoy our selection of promoes on the App Stores stop this thursday!

If you edit video on Mac using Final Cut Pro X or on any device using iMovie, feel at home with LumaFusion, developed by the people of Luma Touch.

Just like Affinity Photo is a photo water splitter on the iPad, so is LumaFusion for video editing. The app comes packed with a great feature pack, combined with a lightweight and relatively simple to use interface.

When opening the app for the first time, you feel in a complex and simple environment at the same time, without help buttons on the screen itself. All application tutorials are available on the developer's website and the feel of a dj vuespecially for those who have already used older versions of iMovie.

LumaFusion has button-customizable layouts that can be changed according to the movie editing process.

Nota on the App Store

My note

It allows 4K content editing at 60 frames per second, which iMovie currently does not allow. Color correction, saturation and hotkeys make the whole process much better than in the Apple app. The sound controls are also a few steps up.

LumaFusion allows up to six different simultaneous tracks on the timeline, three of which are video / audio and three additional for narration, music and special effects. You can connect the app and access files from various cloud storage services such as Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud Drive and OneDrive. The source previewer is a great facilitator for the editing process, helping to define the inputs / outputs of each clip.

Following the FCPX's magnetic timeline feature, LumaFusion ensures that all clips stay together, making the whole process easier and more suitable for iPad.

Check out a short video tutorial of him:

Another highlight of the application is the form of gesture control applied in the division of clips not being the first to support this feature, but the easy and precise shape defined by its developers: a touch with two fingers. By double-tapping a clip on the timeline, you will find a very accurate and complete frame editor, delivering impressive results, equal to or very similar to professional computer video editors.

Also present are undo / redo, duplicate, split and delete clips tools. Upon completion, you can share directly to various services (such as Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo, Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud Drive and OneDrive), as well as saving it to your own Photos library (Photos) or send to your Mac via AirDrop whether it's just audio / video or the full clip, with all the project metadata and even different cadence settings (3,976, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50, 59,94, 60, 120 and 240).

LumaFusion - Timeline

In addition to just adding items to a timeline, the app makes it possible to edit media properties, adding titles, special effects, mixing audio and more.

Watch a video of me fully filmed / photographed with iPhone and edited on LumaFusion:

LumaFusion is undoubtedly one of the most powerful video editors for iOS, adding great tools for people who edit content while making it or simply using an iPad as their primary device.
