“App Store Retro”, a version of the 1980s Apple app store

If you are about my age, you must remember MS-DOS (Microsoft Disk Operating System, an operating system purchased by Microsoft to be used in the IBM PC line of computers). In short, he is considered by many to be what got Microsoft where it is today.

The App Store was born much later, in mid-2008. Many years and technologies separate MS-DOS from the App Store, but Ukrainian Andrey Tkachenko decided to imagine what an Apple app store would be like if it were launched in the 1980s (the “App Store Retro”) a project to promote the AppStorio, Softwario and Androio app ranking sites.

In fact, you can browse both the App Store and the Mac App Store and even Google Play. Worth the visit! 😉
