1. Verify Internet connection
Make sure your phone is connected to the Internet, either on Wi-Fi or on the mobile network (3G or 4G). To confirm that you have access to a wireless network, go to Settings> Wi-Fi and see if there is an active connection. If you are using the mobile data package, go to Settings> Cellular and make sure "Cellular Data" is checked.
