App converts and sends media directly to iGadgets; A8 chip[X] is capable of playing 4K videos

cone - WALTR

Do you know those apps that you see working and don't believe that something as “simple” is possible?

For then know the WALTR, a new software for Mac that not only converts media of any format (including MKV, AVI and FLAC) to be reproduced in iGadgets, but also send them directly to them, without going through iTunes.

Watch the promotional video:

Due to the nature of its operation, WALTR cannot be distributed through the Mac App Store. The good news is that it can be downloaded and tested for free before you make the $ 30 purchase. If you want to save money, join four friends and buy the 5-pack which costs $ 80 or $ 16 each.

But the thing does not stop there. In tests carried out with WALTR, the developer Softorino ended up discovering that the A8 chip of iPhones 6 and 6 Plus (and probably the A8X of iPad Air 2) is capable of playing 4K videos. See s:

A H.264 video with 3840 × 2160 pixels flowed beautifully at 50Mbps, showing only minor flaws when at 100Mbps. Cool, huh?
