AOC launches portable 15.6 ″ monitor for MacBooks with USB-C

Using a second screen connected to the computer is, for many, synonymous with productivity. You can run two apps in full screen, watch a video or follow a presentation while working on something else, or even position the toolbars of complex apps on one screen and focus on the content itself on the other.

For MacBook owners [Pro] with USB-C ports (aka Thunderbolt 3), the manufacturer AOC just launched a portable and cool option.

AOC Monitor I1601FWUX

The I1601FWUX, as it is called (you have to decorate it, huh!), Is a 15.6-inch portable IPS monitor with 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution (Full HD, 16: 9 aspect ratio), 60Hz rate and response time of 5ms, which works and is powered by the USB-C connection itself.

It is only 8.5mm thick, weighs 800g, offers a wide viewing angle (160º), brightness up to 220cd / m² and even has a stand recessed to be positioned on the table, either horizontally or vertically – the orientation change is automatic. It also has a Night Shift native for night use.

The I1601FWUX is now on sale on American Amazon.com for just under $ 200.
