Another virtual operator (GigSky) now supports two chips on the XS, XS Max and XR iPhones

The launch of the XS, XS Max and XR iPhones in Brazil tomorrow (9/11) and, among all the news of the new gadgets of Ma, one of the most anticipated (or not) was the arrival of support to Dual SIM (two chips). In new devices, this function is offered from the Yes it is, whose support has been released since iOS 12.1.

Here, no local operator yet offers native support for the feature, but several have already shown interest in the technology. Fortunately, last week we showed you that it is now possible to test this novelty through a virtual operator called Truphone.

Now, we have one more option: GigSky updated its application with eSIM support for new iPhones in more than 190 countries, allowing customers to purchase a data plan and use it without having to activate it from a physical (Nano-SIM) chip.

To activate a GigSky eSIM from the XS, XS Max and XR iPhones, just have iOS 12.1 or higher installed, download the service application and select the country where you use the data. The company says that purchases do not generate loyalty and can be made whenever the consumer needs it.

GigSky offers data packages ranging from 300MB to 5GB, each with its respective expiration date. With respect to values, the plans start at US $ 10 and go up to US $ 50 in Brazil and other regions of Latin America, in addition to countries in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Caribbean.

To find out which countries / operators support the eSIM of the new iPhones, simply access this Apple support page. The cool thing is that, unlike Truphone, the GigSky app is already available on the Brazilian App Store.
