The Lisbon Machine Learning School was created for researchers, university students, computer scientists and professionals in the sector who are interested in statistics and machine learning and this year, due to the COVID-10 pandemic, it will be totally virtual.
Between July 21 and 29, from the Instituto Superior Tcnico, in Lisbon, several lectures and activities were prepared.
The themes will be promoted by more than a dozen invited speakers from the USA, Spain and other European countries, as well as Portuguese, from representatives of the Telecommunications Institute, to Google Inc. USA, Google DeepMind UK and Carnegie Mellon Universities , Washington, Fudan, among others.
In addition to IST, in its 10th edition, LxMLS 2020 also has organizers such as the Telecommunications Institute, the Institute of Systems and Computer Engineering, Research and Development in Lisbon (INESC-ID), Unbabel, Priberam Labs and Cleverly , which will also be represented.
