Android reaches 46.8% of smartphones sold in Brazil

According to figures from Kantar Worldpanel ComTech, Google's mobile platform, Android, obtained an increase of 32.8% in a study carried out between August / 11 and August / 12 in Brazil.

Google's green robot saw its user base grow from 14% to 46.8% of the market in just one year, while Apple achieved a minor increase of just 4.3%, to a total of 7.5%.

In the case of Windows Phone, the survey surprised the popular finding, showing an evolution of 10.3%, totaling 14.9% of market share.

On the other hand, Nokia's Symbian showed no strength to compete with current competitors, losing 49.7% stake.
