Android 7.0 Nougat is official

Android Nougat still does not appear in the list of versions of the Google platform

The new version of Android has just been officially launched by the Sundar Pichai team, thus confirming the rumors that Android 7.0 Nougat would arrive in August. The update of the operating system will start, of course, with Nexus devices, but this year everything indicates that we will have faster delivery of updates by the manufacturers that partner with Google.

According to the official note from Google Brazil, which we received via email, devices enrolled in the Android beta program will also receive this final version. Check the complete list of devices that should receive the update for Android 7.0 Nougat from the next few weeks at the link below:

In addition, the Brazilian owners of the Nexus 5 have nothing to celebrate, as the update will not officially arrive on the device, since it has more than 18 months since its launch.

Among the new features of Google’s new operating system are native encryption, the control of the importance level of notifications manually, the possibility to respond to messages through the notification bar, a hamburger menu in the system settings and much more.
