Motorola will finally update Milestone in Brazil to Android 2.2 by the end of March, confirmed the company’s press office on Monday.
In September 2010, the company confirmed to Google Discovery that it would promote a second update to the Milestone smartphone in the first quarter of 2011.
«At the request of its consumers, Motorola confirms that it will offer the update to the Froyo version (Android 2.2) to users of the Milestone smartphone,» Motorola said in a statement to the blog.
However, with the rapid evolution of the platform, Android 2.2 can already be considered outdated, being succeeded by version 2.3 Gingerbread.
