And the iMac could have been called MacMan :-)

In early November of last year, we told the story of Ken Segall, from the advertising agency TBWA Chiat Day, who would have been responsible for creating the name "iMac". At the time, Steve Jobs took a while to accept the idea.

Sources told the Gizmodo, however, what would have been the name that Jobs liked most at the time. Fortunately, he found out in time that he was wrong, as the iMac could be called MacMan.

"He found out he was wrong" is perhaps being too good with Jobs: according to the report, Apple had difficulty licensing the MacMan name to a MIDI adapter manufacturer called MidiMan, which was already using it at the time. Thank God.
