It took, but it seems that Apple Brazil is finally defining the prices of the new iMacs in Brazil, yes, those announced there in the United States more than a month ago! The main indication was the fact that Saraiva.com.br recently launched a page about the new machines, which are already in stock in the retail chain:
According to their numbers, the line costs:
MB417BZ / A | 20 inch / 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo / 2GB RAM / 320GB hard drive / GeForce GT120 with 256MB | R $ 6,500 |
MB418BZ / A | 24 inch / 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo / 4GB RAM / 640GB hard drive / GeForce GT120 with 256MB | R $ 8,000 |
MB419BZ / A | 24 inch / 2.93GHz Intel Core 2 Duo / 4GB RAM / 640GB disk / GeForce GT120 with 256MB | R $ 9,600 |
MB420BZ / A | 24 inch / 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo / 4GB RAM / 1TB disk / GeForce GT130 with 512MB | R $ 11,000 |
That is, all models will land here, even. The only discrepant number we obtained was in relation to the top-of-the-line model, which a2YOU obtained with a suggested price of R $ 11,500 (but it does not make much difference when it is at this level, heh). She also revealed to us that the new model of the white MacBook, with NVIDIA video card (AEMB402BZ / B), will arrive for R $ 3,800.
In response to the contact from MacMagazine, Apple Brazil does not confirm the values and opens the possibility that they may still be changed, but, given the circumstances and information we obtained, it is quite possible that they stay that way.
