And a new jailbreak for iOS 11.2-11.3.1 is out!

The practice of jailbreak it definitely no longer has the adhesion of yesteryear. But that does not mean that the subject is not important, because when a new version of a tool comes out to allow the practice of jailbreak, a sign that there are holes for Apple to plug in its operating system the old cat and mouse game that we always comment on here.

Electra for iOS 11.2-11.3.1 is now available! coolstar.org/electra/

Note: the first run will require a restart. Make sure to run the Electra (tool) again after the first reboot to continue the jailbreak.

Well then. Today the group Electra made the newest version of its tool available to anyone who wants to make jailbreak and that is running from iOS 11.2 to 11.3.1. There are two distinct versions of the software, one for developers (which uses a tcp multipath exploit and requires a developer account to be used) and a regular one (which uses a exploit vcf and does not require a developer account).

The famous Cydia installed automatically next to the process and, according to the iDownloadBlog, the tool automatically filters the tweaks incompatible so that they do not appear the standard repositories like BigBoss, ModMyi and ZodTTD thus preventing people from installing something incompatible, protecting the jailbreak of possible problems in this process.

For those interested, the tool Electra1131 can be downloaded from this page.

It is worth noting that, according to Apple, the process of jailbreak may have security vulnerabilities, instability, decreased battery capacity, problems with voice and data, problems with company services (and those using the Apple Push Notification Service) and the inability to update your device for future versions.

If you want to carry out the process, it is always good to know the risks and be sure of what you are doing. 😉
