Anchor is an iOS app that lets you create short podcasts

Recording a podcast involves much more than it looks. In addition to the equipment (a good microphone, for example), it is also necessary to prepare an agenda, bring together the participants, record, edit, make the audio available on a server and preferably still have a specific RSS feed.

But not everyone wants to create something professional, and what does the social network Anchor, recently released. Everything you need to create your own podcast on your iPhone. Think of something like a Twitter that uses audio instead of text and is limited to 2 minutes instead of 140 characters.

In addition to being free, the app has a clean interface and is very easy to use. You can still authenticate using your Twitter account and the app takes care of filling in your basic data, such as name, email and your photo, all brought directly from your Twitter account.

What makes it social is the possibility to follow people, respond to podcasts with audio of up to 1 minute, give like in udios and share them on other social networks. The cool thing is that when you share, the person can listen directly through the browser, without having to download the application.

Unfortunately the app is only available in English for now, but it works perfectly for Brazilians.

Oh, and speaking of podcasts, check out the On Air if you don't know her yet!
