Anatel approves the iPhone 7 Plus and the various models of Apple Watches (Series 1 and Series 2)

One day after the approval of the iPhone 7, AirPods and two new Beats headphones, it was the turn of Anatel (National Telecommunications Agency) to release the iPhone 7 Plus and the Apple Watches Series 1 and 2 to be sold in Brazil, because the watches already have a date to be released in our country: 28th October.

Here is the Technical Compliance Certificate for the iPhone 7 Plus (model A1784):

Approval of iPhone 7 Plus

In the case of the Apple Watch, we are talking about no less than six models. Just them:

  • A1802: 38mm Apple Watch Series 1 (aluminum)
  • A1803: 42mm Apple Watch Series 1 (aluminum)
  • A1757: 38mm Apple Watch Series 2 (aluminum, stainless steel, Nike + and Herms)
  • A1758: 42mm Apple Watch Series 2 (aluminum, stainless steel, Nike + and Herms)
  • A1816: 38mm Apple Watch Edition (ceramic)
  • A1817: 42mm Apple Watch Edition (ceramic)

Below, one of the certificates as an example (from the 38mm Apple Watch Edition):

Apple Watch Series 2 homologation

There are still four more items that have been approved in the same group as Apple Watches (A1831, A1832, A1833 and A1834), but so far we do not know exactly what they are.

Interestingly, there is even a statement from Apple talking about the omission of documents (photos, manuals, etc.), stating that everything will be available for public consultation up to 90 days after the date of certification of the product is a measure taken since the products are still were not released.
