Analysts talk about new iPhone on September 12; “IPad mini” by the end of 2012

Apple StocksMany are speculating that the launch event for the new iPhone will take place on September 12, as well as a smaller version of the iPad.

Despite thinking that the rumors point to a date earlier than expected, Sterne Agee analyst Shaw Wu believes that they make sense, since everyone knows that a new iPhone will arrive during the fall of the Northern Hemisphere.

During Apple's financial results conference for FQ3 2012, sales of iPhones were negatively affected by rumors and speculation about new products. Soon, a presentation earlier than expected would go well.

According to Mark Moskowitz, from JP Morgan, Apple will try to meet all this expectation, producing 20 million units this quarter and another 39 million in the next. About 60% of the total iPhones sold during the next two quarters are expected to be of the new model, according to the analyst. A complete overhaul of the Apple phone, with a larger screen, 4G (LTE) and a slimmer design are also expected. Moskowitz also talked about the “iPad mini”, which should arrive in late 2012, according to signs from Apple's “supply chain”.

These are the rumors heating up, the analysts boiling, and people dying with anxiety.
