Analyst points to further increases in the production of iPhones 4 and iPads

Amid responses from Google and Nokia to provoke Steve Jobs at Apple's music event, Vijay Rakesh, an analyst at Sterne Agee, pointed out that Ma continues its work quietly, increasing production of the iPhone 4 by 510% this quarter and targeting for an increase of 1015% next time for the holidays.

Even so, orders for the device have an average wait of three weeks, something that is even reflected in the demand for the iPhone 3GS: the production of the entry model would be 1015% of the total, a noticeable drop compared to 6070% last quarter. In total, 11 million iPhones are expected to be sold, of which up to 10 million will be the latest models, according to Rakesh estimates.

Meanwhile, #epicFAIL also known as “iPad” should have its production amplified by 2530% in the next quarter, an indication of what Rakesh calls “good visibility”.
