This year, Anacom expects to receive between 30 and 35 thousand consumer complaints. The number, to be confirmed, represents an increase compared to the number of complaints received last year, about 24 thousand.
The forecast was released at the Assembly of the Republic, where the chief official of the communications regulator is being heard at the Commission for Economic Affairs, Innovation and Regional Development, reports the Diário Económico.
Problems with equipment and technical assistance for products are among the main reasons for complaints from consumers who submit complaints to Anacom.
The official said at the same hearing that this month, Anacom plans to create a conflict arbitration center.
The hearing of the president of the regulator had no previously defined theme.
