Anacom is organizing an international conference on the 6th of October on the theme of Net Neutrality – Network Regulation and Content Regulation. The event, the fourth of its kind organized by the regulator, aims to discuss the challenges faced by regulators on issues such as traffic management, prioritization of services, transparency of information and consumer protection, exemplifies a press release.

The issues of ex-post and ex-ante regulation are still on the table this year, as well as the role of the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications and the European Commission.

The 4th international conference of Anacom takes place in Lisbon in the Great Auditorium of Culturgest, at the headquarters of Caixa Geral de Depósitos. The opening session will be in charge of José Amado da Silva, president of the regulator, of the Minister of Public Works, Transport and Communications, António Mendonça; and Timothy Wu, a professor at Columbia Law School.

Participation in the event is open and free, requiring only prior registration, which must be completed until the 4th of October.
