Windows has a user account control system that aims to prevent unauthorized people from making changes to the computer. However, this security feature can block access to legitimate applications. In this case, the message «An administrator has blocked this application from running» will appear on the screen and it will not be possible to run the program.

Step 1. Use Cortana’s search and search for «cmd». Right-click on the first result and, in the context menu, select the option «Run as administrator»;

Step 2. In the Command Prompt window, copy and paste the code «REG ADD HKLM SOFTWARE Microsoft Windows CurrentVersion Policies System / V EnableLUA / T REG_DWORD / D 0 / F» (without quotes);

Step 4. A notification will be displayed informing you of the need to restart the computer. Click on it;

Step 5. Finally, press «Restart now» to restart the PC and disable Windows User Account Control (UAC).
