O AppleInsider noted the lack of stock of the 27-inch 3.7GHz iMac at Best Buy and J&R, while only a handful of units remain available on Amazon, where it is announced that more are on the way. In addition, MacMall is out of stock for the 27-inch iMac with a 2.7GHz processor.
Usually, when they get this out of stock news, because something new comes around. As iMacs have been out of date for more than a year, the new models may arrive at any time. The latest rumor says that they will show up in October, with the Retina display.
