"The iPhone and Apple Watch have taken us into a new era of mobility, helping to transform everyday experiences," commented Bailey. “When we launched Apple Pay, we embarked on a goal of replacing the physical wallet. By adding public transportation, loyalty cards and contactless tickets, we’ve expanded Wallet’s capabilities beyond payments, and we’re now excited to work with campuses to add contactless student ID cards to bring consumers even more practical, convenient and secure experiences. ”
