American police find 470 iPhones and more than R $ 2.3 million in Gift Cards with criminal

According to Tigard police (in the state of Oregon; Washington County), detectives linked to the commercial crime department went to the Washington Square mall in early December to investigate organized retail crimes when they spotted a man full of Gift Cards entering the mall's Apple Store. As normally large quantities of Gift Cards indicate that something is wrong there, the detectives tried to follow the man.

Because his car was packed with Apple bags. He then got into the vehicle and drove until he was stopped by the police, who then found 470 iPhones (worth ~ R $ 1.1 million) and more than R $ 2.3 million in Gift Cards!

Police spokesman Jim Wolf said no arrests have been made since the man and one more suspect are working with the police on the investigation to find out who else is in the coup. The criminals took the police to a nearby FedEx store where dozens of boxes of iPhones were found to be shipped to Hong Kong.
