Amazon renews its entire line of Kindles

Today, Amazon held a major event in Los Angeles, where it announced updates to its entire Kindles line. Now, the Kindles Fire won a high resolution screen, new processor and many other new features. The original ereaders were not left behind, and they also received improvements in their screens and response time, in addition to light for reading in the dark.

Kindle Fire HD 8.9

Kindles Fire HD comes with new high-resolution screens. The 7-inch version (16GB – $ 200; 32GB – $ 250) features 1280 Ă— 800 pixels and IPS technology. The largest, 8.9 inches (16GB – $ 300; 32GB – $ 370), has a resolution of 1920 Ă— 1200 pixels to compare, the third generation iPad has 2048 Ă— 1536 pixels at 9.7 inches. Both have an OMAP 4470 processor, HDMI input, Bluetooth and support for Wi-Fi networks.
