The Alura website is a Brazilian platform for technology and digital business courses. To access courses, material and the discussion community, the user needs to subscribe annually. The platform offers three options of annual plans that can be paid in up to 12 installments and it is not possible to buy separate courses. In the cheapest package, which costs R $ 75 / month, the user can take all courses on the platform and receive the certificate upon completion. In the most complete plan, in the amount of R $ 120 per month, in addition to basic functionalities, the student can also access Alura Star, which offers introductory courses to the world of technology through games, apps and science, and Alura Languages, an online reinforcement of English and Spanish.
Payments can be made via PayPal or by boleto. The second option is only valid for cash payments, but the website offers the possibility for the user to split the payment between boleto and PayPal. This option is only available through direct contact with the support team.
Students can access courses via computer, smartphone or tablet. The platform has an application for Android phones and iPhone (iOS). There is also a forum for questions, where it is possible to interact with other students and teachers. In addition, exercises related to each area are available. Finally, users receive a certificate of participation when completing each course. It is worth remembering that the most complete plans also have access to the Alura Start and Alura Languages ​​platforms.
When completing an individual course or training, the user has access to an authenticated certificate. This certificate is not valid and, in many cases, can be used as a mandatory complementary activity for university courses.
