With the arrival of Duo and Allo (soon!) – which are simpler and easier to use applications – Google is already scheduling a transition from Hangouts to the corporate environment.
According to Google’s vice president of communications products, Nick Fox, Hangouts will focus on corporate and business customers, where the service has seen its greatest success.
“Hangouts was built within the Google account and is deeply integrated with Google applications, Android [coisas como Drive, Docs, etc.], Gmail, Calendar and so on and it has been successful in companies, ”said the Google executive.
Fox also revealed that Google will no longer pursue the idea that a single application can do everything.
With Allo and Duo, Google hopes to develop different experiences, but with the intention of making them work well.
