AliExpress orders from China may be delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak

Through its social networks, AliExpress, one of the largest online stores in the world, has started to alert its customers to something important: orders from China may take a little longer to be delivered due to the coronavirus outbreak, which has been affecting the logistics system of its partners.

The statement was published on the company's Facebook page last Tuesday (13). In the post, AliExpress, which mainly relies on suppliers from China, warns that "there may be some delays due to the coronavirus". Several customers took advantage of the publication and said that, in addition to the delay, delivery times were automatically renewed, instead of being canceled.

In an interview Reuters, the company said: "Some deliveries may be affected, but we are working hard to support our salespeople at this difficult time, minimizing any inconvenience for our customers."

It is worth remembering that the Chinese company Alibaba, responsible for AliExpress, is not the only technology company that has been suffering due to the coronavirus outbreak. Major events like MWC 2020, Google I / O, Facebook's F8 conference and Microsoft's MVP Global Summit, for example, have been canceled. In addition, research indicates that the coronavirus has been affecting the sale of smartphones in several markets, mainly in China, which had a 40% reduction.

In Brazil, there are 4 confirmed cases so far, but no deaths have been registered due to the disease, which unfortunately has already caused more than 3,000 deaths around the world.
