Alexandre Nilo Fonseca, director-general of marketing for the Controlinveste group and president of ACEPI – Electronic Commerce and Interactive Advertising Association, joined the European Board of Directors of INMA – International Newsmedia Marketing Association.
«The appointment of our colleague Alexandre Nilo Fonseca to the European Board of Directors of INMA marks a new chapter in the presence of our association in Portugal», assures Earl Wilkinson CEO of the association. The first result of this influence will be the holding in Portugal of the annual conference European organization, as early as next year. In a statement, INMA highlights the fact that Portugal has «top quality infrastructure, which will certainly attract the top executives of the media companies», and the fact that it is «an unrivaled historic and tourist destination».
INMA was founded in 1930 and currently has around 5,000 members in more than 80 countries. Members of the organization, based in the United States, with offices in Europe and Asia, are top managers of media companies around the world.
At the 2011 conference in Portugal, those responsible will share best practices and discuss methodologies to increase audiences and brand recognition on different platforms.
