Alcatel’s Mobile Kiosk supports TMN’s video-touch service

COLLAB distinguished with the APDC / Siemens Innovation Award

TMN and Alcatel announced the launch of a new videogame service supported by the French manufacturer’s Mobile Kiosk solution, available on the i9 portal. Each videotape costs one euro.

Video tapes are short video sequences or animated clips that announce the arrival of a new call, which can be customized by the user for different contacts. As one of the new contents allowed by the availability of 3G, video tapes are on the list of the most promising services, inheriting the success of audio tones.

«Over the past few years, audio tones have evolved from polyphonic to real tones. Now video taps are appearing, the latest development in the mobile area, for which we expect a great success», explains Eduardo Cláudio, Business Data and Content Director TMN, in a statement.

Recently, TMN and Alcatel had announced the integration of a game service on the i9 portal, to which is now joined this new partnership for video ringtones.
