The agreement that will set the investment conditions for operators in Next Generation Networks will be in place for days. It was already known that the Government was working with the main players sector in the formula to be used to materialize the new generation infrastructures.
A member of the executive has now confirmed to Lusa that the agreement under preparation will in fact be signed in January and will create the basis for an investment of 2.5 billion euros.

Until the second week of January, the way investment in the networks will be announced,» writes the news agency, citing government sources that confirm the preparatory meetings for the agreement that have been taking place between Portugal. Regarding the content of the agreement and how investments in fiber will be developed, uncertainties remain.
