Agibank: how to pay friends using your mobile number

The virtual bank Agibank allows you to pay your electricity bill, telephone, internet and other bank slips by cell phone. The feature can be used by anyone with an active account on Nubank’s rival service. In addition to this modality, the app also allows you to send money to individuals, groups or companies via TED, Agipag and contact details.

In this tutorial, the dnetc teaches you how to make payment of boleto in the Agibank application, available for Android and iPhone (iOS). See how to perform the procedure and settle your debts by smartphone.

How to invite friends to Agibank

Step 1. After creating the account at Agibank, open the app and tap the «Pay» button, available on the main screen. There are five payment methods. For this tutorial, we selected the «Boleto» option.

Step 2. Place the barcode under the red line and wait for the data to be identified. If not, tap the «Enter barcode» button.

Step 3. Enter the numeric sequence of the barcode without the hyphens (the app inserts the dots automatically) and press «Continue». Check the amount, payment date and name of the company or person who will receive the payment. Enter a description (such as «Electric bill») and then tap the green button with an arrow.

Step 4. The app will display an operation confirmation box. If the user does not have an available balance in his current account, the payment will be made with the pre-approved limit, of which interest of 14.99% is charged after 5 days. Press «Yes» to have the app show a graph with your account summary after the transaction. Then, tap «Continue».

Step 5. The application will ask you to enter the four-digit password created when opening the account. Once this is done, the Agibank application will show a completed transaction message and proof of payment.
