Age of Empires: World Domination was announced more than a year ago, but had its release postponed by Microsoft. Because today the game arrived at the Play Store, unfortunately, in the beginning it will only be available for download in some selected countries, and Brazil is not one of them.
The game is a mobile version of Microsoft’s classic PC franchise. However, in the mobile universe, Microsoft has outsourced the game production to KlabGames, that is, AoE: WD is a game freemium, with few characteristics of the original franchise; think of a Clash of Clans or DomiNations, where you have to wait for resources to recharge over time to use them instead of cutting trees or getting rocks.
After choosing one of the civilizations and going through a very long tutorial that teaches how battles work, how to build buildings, train units, etc., the player can create his own empire, participate in some missions, gather experience, level up, and so on. onwards. The game has internal purchases that facilitate and speed up some functions, but are expendable.
For those who like this style of play, AoE is good, but there are better ones, for those who are a fan of the franchise, it is worth trying it out, but don’t expect anything like that. For now, Age of Empires: World Domination is only available in selected countries and in English, but KlabGames is expected to launch it in other markets and other languages by the end of the year.
AoE: WD requires Android 4.0 or higher to run, and takes up 300MB of storage, with data – after the tutorial, the game was almost 800MB. It is already in the Play Store, but it cannot yet be installed in Brazil.
Will Age of Empires: World Domination have space in the Android world?
